Finalecture

The final unlecture looked at concepts from week 12/11 and also served as a reflection of the course.

Some points I liked or found interesting:

  • What does it mean to be a journalist in this day and age where anyone can publish information online?
  • Big stories are being broken often by non-journalists… for example on Twitter, tweeting an incident to the public before it has been reported.
  • The internet is made up of networks, blogs, our nikis, hypertext
  • A database is a place to store lists
