This week’s unlecture main notes:

– Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web

– Gift economy; freely giving information without expecting something in return- the internet and blogging and putting information out there with no expectation of a thankyou or reward is an example of this.

– Patent laws; Adrian claimed they are corrupt because there is a pattern where people are patenting ideas for things that don’t yet exist and so if something even slightly similar is created they can have the rights to sue
