Hypertextualising

Something I took out of week 6’s unlecture is about hypertext and the way in which it tells a story through different media forms. Jasmine believed that you have to view things in a sequence from start to end in order to comprehend the whole story. If elements are absence then it is difficult to interpret the narrative in the same manner. I agree with the concept, in that for example if I just was to sit down mid-television program and form an opinion, it is kind of an ill informed opinion.

I also liked the concept of fiction being an idea about a world and documentaries then therefore being about the world. I believe that fiction is great in that it allows your imagination to come into play.

Overall it was an interesting unlecture.
