Myself, Mia, Michael and Molly as group of four came together the week of the presentation and carefully assembled the showreel preview. We arranged the meeting through email and Facebook messages then met in person to discuss and work on the showreel. We actually didn’t divide the roles and worked in a group for the whole showreel and website, and also the work amount was doable in one seating. What we did was we assembled the 30second previews everyone sent to Hannah and put it together on Premiere Pro. As a group we decided things like which one went after another and whether we wanted background music or not. As soon as we completed the first draft we showed it to Hannah and from getting instant feedback we were allowed to make changes straight away. After refining the preview by fixing the position of the texts of peoples names and the consistency of each clips we reviewed it together to make sure there weren’t any other faults. Once we were done with the videoclip we discussed how we wanted to do our speeches on the day of the presentation and was allocated each projects we did in the studio . Overall in terms of making the showreel together i think we worked pretty well and efficiently as a group. Everyone was respectful and open when making decisions and suggesting ideas. I feel disappointed towards myself and sorry towards my group members for not being able to appear at the actual presentation due to a misunderstanding of the schedule and contribute as much as i was supposed to, but i trust that my group members would have done wonderfully without me.
