Summary of development
I have been addicted to the “visual” presentation whether narrative or non-narrative, the aesthetics of visual satisfies my current life throughout.
This is my second time to create my project with time-lapse photography mode and my first work was 5 years ago, the project was called “the submarine investigation plan” which talked about how the plant, bamboo, glow up in one light, meanwhile, I would like to investigate how the plant to think of us by their perspective?
For this opportunity in the class, I have the reason to experiment with time-lapse photography again. Meanwhile, due to the restriction of lockdown, it took me a lot of efforts and times to get inspired by everything around in the room (I live in the CBD, so it was really a challenge if not going for developing screenplay instead of a visual project in a closed space.) But, I was really enjoyed to rummage around the room such as the mirror, tap water, ice cube…
In terms of the final project in this class, I was experiencing the end of the lease in Melbourne and moving out everything for going back to my country. So, I realised that “water” is the element that we see, drink, touch every day, and through the development with my previous topic, I utilised it as my main creative ideas.
