Pitch Preparation
The most interesting is the challenge for producing something new during the quarantine (in a room). The good thing is I will be having more time to filter more materials and resource for fulfilling my production, the bad thing is some of the outdoor shooting will not be happening during the period. So, in terms of the materials of my own film, it would be considered to use my pre-recorded footage, online free right footage and some in-room recordings.
My concept here for #assignment 1 is to create a combination of music and sequence. For me, Melbourne, where I live, or other busy cities are classic capital city whose characteristics are rush and busy for competition could not even take a deep breath for enjoying a moment of feeling the timing. By contrast, my expected artwork, as the represented enjoyments would be – a laid-back style such as utilising slow motion and my favourite music style – classical music’s combination. Basically, in my thoughts, my video does not come with a narrative storyline but focusing on presenting visual effect and the combination with the soundtrack. And in terms of the visual effect, I would be mainly using slow-motion videos for the attempt on Jean Epstein’s theory, the “mobility” to reach a moment to feel.
