It’s 3am on a Sunday morning and I can’t sleep and so might as well blog or something. So I was watching some Korsakow films by past students and I ran across this one – Kitchen Story (2012). I thought it was very creative on the colours. They all have similar colours and I thought it worked really well. I had a tutorial class last week and it was said that it’s not advisable to have one continuous soundtrack for the whole Korsakow, but I thought this worked out pretty well. It’s a good example if anyone wants to have one continuous soundtrack. Technically, it’s more of a narration of recipes that became an ambient in relation to the footage. Personally, I love cultural stuff and what captures my attention most was the languages they use. Three students from three different countries narrating in their own languages. Watching this is making me hungry. It’s 3 in the morning! Ouch….
