Anyone heard Ben Affleck is going to be Batman in the upcoming Man of Steel 2? Looks like everyone is hating the idea and I was wondering whether Warner Bros. is going to drop the idea or continue with it. It’s a twitter trend now for the hashtag #BetterBatmanThanBenAffleck. It’s funny on how the movie is about Superman but everyone is pretty much concern more on who’s going to play the Batman. Christian Bale said that he is not returning because he said that having a Batman trilogy is enough for him. Another reason that they say Bale will not be returning is because the Man of Steel’s universe is NOT THE SAME as Nolan’s universe. They’re not connected. BUT WHY? Nolan directed the Dark Knight trilogy and also PRODUCED the Man of Steel. Why is that not related? I’m a fan of Bale’s Batman, but hearing this news is sort of a disappointment to me. Oh please don’t be like another Spiderman like film; remaking it again. The sequel is planned to be released next year but it looks like they are short of time in my perspective. Big movies such as this is normally being released in June or July (American’s Summer season) and it’s only 10 months away now. Or possible, it could be released in the December too but I don’t think they will do due to marketing strategies. Of course they want to hit as high grossing as possible. It’s all about business baby!
