Last week I mentioned how I wanted to make my film to look like. I wanted it to have a vintage look, black and white, rough texture and also a high contrast and some over exposure. Ofcourse it is impossible to film with a vintage film camera to achieve the  effect, so I decided to use Lightroom to try achieve this effect by post production. Here is the original photo:

I basically changed it to black and white first and used the color temperature to get a colder color. I raised up the contrast because I need higher contrast, and also raised to highlight and lowered the shadow to make it even stronger. Then I used black and white color gradient and the clearness to get a rough texture.

 

I think this experiment is quite successful, the new look is what I am looking for, all my targets are achieved.
