For project brief 4 I’m doing a discuss audio, basically I’m giving out my own opinion about our discuss topic. When it comes to personal opinion, audience might agree with you or disagree with you. When they disagree with your point, controversies might follow. It reminds me of possible controversies in media content, as a media student and maybe a future media content maker, controversy is something I need be careful about.

I remember not too long ago TV show “Lucifer” produced by FOX experienced some controversies because of its content. The show is about the Devil himself decides to leave hell and come to earth for a vacation, and he ended up being a helpful hand of the law enforcement. The show is based on a DC comic and because of the character of Lucifer(the Devil) is funny and playful, a lot of audience think the show is disrespecting the devil and misleading people. This created a lot of negative impact to the show, believers of religions are asking for the show to stop. Although the show still managed to keep going and producing the second season, it still has some controversies in its content.

This story led me know what could possibly happen if some information in my work irritates certain people. I guess that is something I will try not to do. HAHA
