Since I set myself to notice how the natural light changes during a sunset, I forgot to notice it twice. Then I made sure I’m home when the sun comes down everyday. I set in front of my desk which is right beside the window, to make sure I can notice the change. I take a photo during the sunset everyday when I think the light at the moment is very different from the previous day. Then I managed to make the 4 photos into a timeline.

After that I still thought something’s missing. Although the photos showed how the sun went down and the sky went dark, it did’t show the whole process too well. I asked myself how can I improve that with my final piece of media. The first thing came to my mind was a time lapse video. Which is exactly what I did afterwards.

Collecting those five pieces really got me noticing the natural light. I sit in front this desk every single day, watching the sun goes up and down, the sky gets bright and dark, but I never thought about the details or capturing the moment. This task made me to it and found the joy in it. Throughout this process, I learned about how to wait for capturing a moment that can help your work. For this task I waited in front of the desk just to make sure the photo can show how the light changes in the clearest way.

Overall the 5 pieces did show what I wanted to show. Due to the prompt I set earlier, some of the photos are looking successful as a photography work, so that is what I would like to improve for my next task.
