This graph is what we did in the last lectorial class, to sum up the whole semester. Purple line is conceptual, blue line means technical skills, yellow line means professionalism and the brown line means practices.

Through out the semester I think the conceptual part is what I improved the most. Before I take this course I don’t know a thing about the media industry and how it works, all the classes and workshops really gave me a clearer idea of what people do in this industry. I have also learned a lot about professionalism, not just about how to film things and how to edit videos, also a lot of knowledge about how to improve ourselves as media practitioners. For example how to do interviews, how to ask questions, how to make audios and how to attract audiences. As in technical skills, I have had some experience about photography and video making in high school, so I believe I have quite a strong fundament, but all the practices and assessments really helped me to take my skills to the higher level, especially my editing skills and the very new skill I learned about audio making.

This semester helped me to improve myself a lot, and I’m really looking forward to the next semester and learn some other new things about this industry!
