Yesterday I finally decided it was about time I took all my photos from Italy and uploaded them onto my computer. As I mentioned briefly in a previous post, I spent the last uni break in Europe, mostly in Italy.
As my ghostly pale skin should indicate, I am not european unfortunately. Although I did enjoy when Italian people asked me for directions on the odd occasion. So for 3 weeks I conquered Italy. Not literally of course. Less conquering of villages and more conquering of foreign food and Zara.
Saving up was difficult though, let me tell you. I am prone to an impulse buy like nobody’s business. If the sales assistant tells me a Gorman jumper makes my eyes look greener, then you better believe I’m going to buy it… and regret it later.
These are all pictures I took of my absolute favourite place, Cinque Terre. I have honestly never seen anything so beautiful and I decided that this post should be a hashtag selfish upload, so I can look back and realise how boring my life is now that I’m back in cold Melbourne. (Although don’t get me wrong I’m obsessed with Winter, more on that later). Aside from taking 1 million pictures of the incredible view, I also hiked from the first town ‘Monterosso’ to the second ‘Vernazza’ in 35 degree heat. Hiking, aka strenuous exercise disguised as fun, is really not my thing BUT it was 100% worth it when we reached some of these views at the end.
