Right now I’m sitting on my phone as I’m stuck in traffic on the 11 tram- trying to make my way into the city to get to class on time. I’m looking around the tram and literally every single person has a phone either in front of their face or on their lap. Generally, if some one isn’t looking at their phone they at least have ear phones in and are still engaging with some sort of media. This is fairly standard for a tram ride- phones everywhere…

the point of this post is that across from me there are two people who have obviously never met and are engaging in the most animated conversation. It’s refreshing to see that some of us haven’t lost the art of communicating face to face.  As creepy as I may look, I actually can’t stop watching these two people. I would not be surprised if they exchanged numbers before they leave the tram. It almost feels like an art that I can still find this sincere communication in a world full of digital saturation.
