Today we spent several hours editing and boy, are we fried!

We literally sat down today and began properly structuring and cutting together our documentary. We are actually so happy with how it’s looking and how it’s coming together. Since our last consultation, we’ve decided to keep our cuts short and concise and ensure our interviews are concise and most of all, relevant!

We are still struggling with colour grading and finding the perfect contrast/brightness balance without losing image quality. Although, we plan to work on this on Friday.

We are still working on structuring the interview, but we’ve worked out where to place our Vox Pops and think they will be perfect at creating segment intervals.

This is probably the first session we have felt the piece actually coming together to create a documentary, rather than a bunch of random clippings of footage.

All in all, we’re going okay…
