Our pitches today were so productive!

It was great today to be able to let the whole class know where we are at in terms of the organisation of our major works. It was great to see what the class is passionate about, and let everyone know what I am passionate about.

The feedback from Rachel and Robin was priceless. It was fantastic to have clarification on what two experts thought about the idea of the film. The idea of colour-scheme is something that has been in my head for a little while, so it was fitting that they focused on the idea of colour. I really want to implement the bright, clean, PINK, colour-scheme of the piece of work as a juxtaposition to the seriousness of the topic.

Juxtaposition and contrast is something that I absolutely adore. I really want to highlight that this tactic will enable the audience to engage with the brightness of the theme while undermining what information is really being digested. In the end, it is a political film, and will be potentially easier to understand with such a colourful visual element.

Personally, I know I need to focus on the fact that this is such a broad topic. Regardless of all the important pieces of information that come into view, we need to keep a clear focus on the main idea.
