Yesterday I spent my day working away on my project brief. I had previously posted about how I didn’t have a narrative structure and I was a little bit worried about this. We talked in our week 6 workshop about how our interviews needed a structure for our audience to be able to follow the story and for the project to actually achieve something and have a point.
While I was working on my project and sorting through the audio I realised that I do have a narrative structure where it is easy to follow. I have finally sorted my audio and film footage to create a conflict and a resolution and I am so happy that I have been able to manipulate my interviewee’s story this way to allow the audience to engage and fully understand the interview. The conflict creates tension and mixes up the interview so it’s not just a happy interview with no changes the whole way through.
… Back to it.
