Is storytelling media?

We are learning.  We are feelings things.  We are engaged.

So what actually is media?  Media allows us to feel all the things that storytelling does.  No one ever said that media has to involve technology.  So when a little boy appears on the screen and starts telling his rendition of the famous fairy-tale, I tend to think that this is media.  Well, obviously this recording of the child is an explicit technology medium therefore it is media, but if this wasn’t a recording and the child was in the room with us, would it still be media?  It made me laugh and it was a good experience to watch.  So, disregarding the fact that it was a video recording, then yes, I believe that story-telling is media.
