Okay, so regardless of all the stress leading to this practical, trying to get the creative juices flowing and the last minute teaching myself how to convert m4a files into mp3 files for basically a practice run of an actual assessment I think I scraped through unscathed. The class was actually extremely productive for me and regardless of the embarrassment of sharing my own work, I did volunteer to have the class analyse it.  I figure, I would rather be laughed at and know that my work was no good than to have never known and ended up submitting something ridiculous for the actual assessment.  We used a system of marking each others work called ‘hats’.  They are made up of green, red, yellow and black and all aimed at stimulating  certain positive responses or criticism of someones work.  Quite honestly I left with a little boost of confidence.

Seth (and the class) gave me some really positive and constructive feedback on my work which was really great.  I seem to be on the right path for the upcoming assessment and I’m really happy because I did enjoy my idea, so I now have the confidence to go forward with this idea for my assessment.  My only issue is that I am really lacking knowledge on the Adobe programs that we will be using.  I just don’t have the experience, so I’m thinking I’ll be spending some time using Lynda.com and also hopefully having some advice from fellow students.  Regardless, I’m interested in seeing where this project leads me.
