5) I feel as though actively engaging in class discussion and exercises is important for my learning as it helps me to feel confident with what I do and I can gain insights and from both Seth and classmates. This semester I would like to see myself participating more in class, volunteering and partaking in discussions, and also engaging with course material.

This week I would like to give myself a HD for my participation as I did something that I very rarely do. Seth asked us to volunteer to be the first one to have their videos shown to the class. Of course no one jumped to the be the first, and after what seemed like 5 minutes of waiting, I decided to bite the bullet and, quote myself “set the bar low” and have my videos shown and judged first. The feedback I got was surprisingly positive and my self confidence went up a notch. I was pretty proud of myself for going first, and I think I provided others with pretty good feedback after I got the ball rolling.
