As suggested at our initial project pitch, we’ve been debating whether to create an ACP Twitter account as a part of our story. In doing so, we’d be able to directly communicate with the public and thus create a simple and effective avenue through which to introduce our story to its audience.
Eventually, however, we decided not to engage social media as part of our story. While it would be convenient and would add another platform to our story, it would ultimately shatter the ‘top-secret’, ‘covert’ status of ACP (the organisation at the centre of our story). The notion that ACP is a covert security agency is central to the story, and thus we simply cannot contradict this concept by utilizing social media (as tempting as it might be!)
In fact, if you try to access Facebook, Twitter or Google+ through the ACP database, you’ll find you get a brisk slap-on-the-knuckles!
