Second titles shoot

After my first shoot of titles I wanted to make adjustments. I knew this time I would have to film upside down as that what is easier to film with. After being assigned with the title sequence for the exhibition presentation and deciding on utilising letter cubes, I decided to use them in a small part of my title sequence as well. My title sequence is obviously all fake creditation and not based on any sort of film but simply a means of exploring what I can use to represent text on screen. I managed to shoot a lot of different thing I didn’t shoot in my first filming session. I utilised some chocolate letters, (although was unable to use them on a cake as I had originally planned), letter cubes and magazine cut outs. I also was able to reshoot my chicken letters using the correct film setup. I reused my ‘casting by’ shot as that was my favourite from the first shoot. As mentioned in my other post, whilst filming the other title sequence my lighting globe blew so I had to improvise. This is what led to the torch shot, which I actually didn’t mind too much.
