We had our project presentations which we pitched to a panel of judges consisting of RMIT teachers. The idea of presenting my ideas to a group of professionals was a bit intimidating but I found that it went really well. The feedback and ideas I got was to ditch a narrative storyline and focus more on a portfolio of shots. There were also ideas of explicitly exploring text on screen, instead of a broad range of topics. I would definitely like to explore the possibility of texts on screen both through on screen text and text using inanimate objects such as food. I think the basis of my project will be experimental and explores ways both colour and text works on screen. I would also like to improve my camerawork and explore new editing techniques with my project.
