To start with, I wanted to take inspiration from the opening of Napoleon Dynamite. In the opening sequence contains the credits of the production company, cast and crew, however are shown through various visuals of abstract objects such as ‘Paramount Pictures Present’ shown in sauce next to a burrito.

In my project I want to take inspiration from this scene by have an opening sequence showing credits using abstract objects and items. I don’t wish to copy the scene exactly, only take inspiration from it to create my own sequence.

I would like to do a plate of food but not sure how I would go about creative such thin letters with a sauce/condiment.

I believe I will have to film this last as I’m not sure who will involved/how many people I will have to credit.

Ideas for opening sequence:

lipstick text on bathroom mirror

Person lifts up sleeve, has writing on arm

A plate of some kind of food with sauce

Creating a fake label on an object

Writing on foggy window, car/shower/window

Opening up a scrunch piece of paper
