The Week 6 Reading

In this reading, I found myself going back over each sentence, trying to make sense of it. It was only after I got clarification from another student that I got the ‘kind of’ gist of it. Basically, what threw me was the overly intellectual synonyms of the author and the jumping of one idea to another. I didn’t understand what a ‘hyper lexias’ was, nor did I really get what ‘hyperlink’ was other than to link a sentence to an external source of information or media. On the other hand, once this was explained to me, I found that what the author was supposedly talking about was a database of forum to which people can add information which can be sourced by others, i.e. A blog ;).

I did do the reading, but found I couldn’t create any train of thought or have any inspiration invested in myself from the piece, due to a lack of successful communication. Hopefully next time I will have more to say 🙂
