Thursday we did our pitch for the video and it went quite well! Rohan suggested that the song may be too long and we should make sure we have enough footage to cut together in order to fill all gaps. He was also quite displeased in regards to our getaway scene idea, though I’m sure we can work through it by removing the car from the plan.

Currently, I am creating props for the shoot on Tuesday! I have to make money bags as well as a detective outfit. This is a part of shooting that I actually enjoy; today I went out and bought some burlap shopping bags, and am in the process of stuffing and tying them up so that they resemble an old money bag one might see in a cartoon or old robbery movie.

We want to give our video the aesthetics of a Bonnie & Clyde esc. couple. Dressing the band members in striped jail shirts and fedoras/sunglasses will set the tone as well. Olivia has a friend who is going to be doing the hair and makeup for the shoot, which is very exciting. And due to the band member’s schedules, we will, after all, be having actors play the roles in our script.
