Ultimately, this essay performs as a letter addressed to my future self that rather than conveying three steps to look towards when completing a project, it conveys three ideas of where the future is heading towards in terms of the breadth of online research, the audience remaining as ‘produsers’ and where the flow of changing technology will be and whether users are prepared. It asks whether online research will remain this broad if not broader, whether audiences will forever be feeding back and sharing what others provide and how drastic should we be expecting of change in technology? Or rather, even if these changes are more directions we have no other choice than to head towards?
