‘The Maze Runner’
Directed by Wes Ball.
Based on the novel by James Dashner.
Definitely a must see film. The genre of this film is similar to that of ‘The Hunger Games’ which always makes me intrigued as i have a particular fascination towards the human race and how we are controlled. The graphics were believable and frightening (for me, at least) and the central character role was not over acted, making it more believable. The main factor that drew me in to rushing home and buying the series in book form was the suspense and drawing out what the end result would be with many turning points. It makes me wonder whether there are things society don’t know about, whether we are all under the watchful eye of a corporation and life is ultimately a test and if you live it the right way you may make it to stage two. I love to think outside the norm and this definitely encourages it.
