This past week I’ve had a couple of job interviews and it’s made me realise how bad I am at relaying my ideas on the spot. I know that I am able to communicate my ideas through writing or when I’m given some time to think over my response, but when I was asked things at this job interview it was like my brain was completely empty, caused either by my nerves or by the nagging self-doubt that seems to plague how I feel about what going into the film and television industry. I respond to a question and then overthink the reaction of the interviewer to the point that I feel like I completely make up said-reaction.
