This week’s video is fairly relevant to my current Film3 investigation into the night-time landscape. There are plenty of timelapse videos and films out there, however this one presents images and cityscapes in a more unique and engaging way. By compositing different footage from different times of the day together, the filmmaker has created a range of compositions which I think successfully evokes curiosity in viewers. I really like the idea behind this short, and perhaps I’ll draw upon its visual themes in my own experiments.
