Week 7 Reflection: The Receiving of Feedback

Receiving feedback about your work isn’t always the most exciting part about sharing, but if you want to improve, it’s essential. It was interesting to hear what other people interpreted about my project brief 3. And while I did want to say “that was completely intentional”, there were some times when I just nodded my head and smiled. But then again, after thinking about it for a bit, I felt that subconsciously I made that decision on purpose, like when you just naturally prepare your lunch perfectly without thinking about it. I’ll admit, the negative feedback never fails to make me feel shit about my work, but at least I know next time that I have to make sure my volume levels are correct. That means I should use a better speaker, because I was completely referring to a gauge when I was editing my sound. And when we were watching the video in class, I had only then just realized how much the bass overpowered the treble. So in conclusion, get better speakers or something.
