‘Through the Glass Lens’ by Eleanor Holloway

A short film observing the lives of the everyday, utilising interview audio from Melbourne based Director and Editor Lucy Paplinska.
This approach to filmmaking was a new yet exciting endeavour, especially in the slower-paced style. I was both intrigued and inspired by her approach to storytelling through documentary directing and editing, and her interest in people as subjects. I wanted to emphasise these words through providing ample space for reflection, with footage of autumnal Melbourne.
