Emma Haarburger has achieved some impressive goals at a young age. The world of film is expanding with women rising in the ranks but it’s not without its challenges. Women in the film industry working on or off screen are victims for doubts, stigmas and harassment. Haarburger opens up about her experiences in this 5-minute short film.

I had the great privilege of interviewing film producer Emma Haarburger over zoom and meet with her in a COVID safe environment to talk more about her experience. Learning about Haarburger’s experiences and challenges opened my eyes to the industry and how to navigate it as a woman starting out.Emma has been a great mentor and friend over the past few weeks and I look forward to one day working with her. I hope that this documentary inspires more women to enter the film industry and be brave, bold and fearless in the careers, creating content to share with the world.
