Luke Knowles is an aspiring musician trying to make it big in the industry while raising a two-year-old child. When the unprecedented COVID-19 stage 4 lockdowns were in effect, Luke was unable to work and as a result his wage diminished greatly which affected his ability to pay rent. As crippling stress and anxiety overcomes him, he decided to sell a couple of guitars and gear he owned in order to survive. Still holding onto his passion for music and with no work in sight, Luke dedicates most of his time in producing his tracks for his next album and looking after his child. SCRAPING BY is a 4 min documentary that portrays the harsh realities of being a local artist while struggling to endure appalling conditions brought by the global pandemic of 2020.
