My film centred around a mysterious box being exchanged between two friends. I found shooting through zoom slightly disastrous at times as I had many technical difficulties due to my inexperience, but this was definitely a lesson in how important it is to be stick to a shot list. This film was definitely an experiment for me, I can’t say that I think my final is incredible, but I definitely appreciate the learning and improvement that went on behind the scenes. In the future I think I should definitely focus on the final product making more sense to the viewer, as I am aware that the films (especially the experimental) are confusing to watch for the viewer. I thoroughly enjoyed the teamwork aspect of this project as all members of my group were so organised and prepared which was incredibly motivating. I think I gained a lot of practical skills throughout the creation of this film, and believe I will be better equip to shoot again after COVID-19. I was very happy with the creative process that occurred and hope this work translates well into other projects.
