‘I(e)Phones’ is a short, experimental video surrounding the hyperobject of iPhones. As a product that has seen fifteen models since 2007 (and counting), iPhones have (and will continue) to impact numerous ecologies and peoples in detrimental ways – even if we as consumers fail to recognise this. i(e)Phones hopes to explore the pressing environmental issue of e-waste that iPhones contribute to everyday, and how even if we cannot fully grasp the scale of our devices, we must recognise their impacts.
