After exposing the seedy underbelly of child trafficking in Afghanistan, photographer and journalist, Barat Ali Batoor, received countless death threats and was almost murdered. Forced to flee the country, he recounts his perilous asylum-seeking journey from Afghanistan to Australia through “The Unseen Road to Asylum”, a  photo series he shot along the way.
