Behind Closed Doors

 

Our project’s focus is upon King Street. In our first assignment on this site we came across issues with access. In Western Society, doors are often represented as an opportunity.  But what happens when those doors are locked? Our project explores the barriers that doors create, focusing in on King Street’s shady underbelly. Can we get access to the worst of the worst?  What do these clubs have to hide, or are they protecting something? What do we see, hear, smell, and feel if we are able to gain access? Our previous project presented us with nothing but barriers.  Let’s break them down.
