Jamming the premise

Here’s our repository of loglines/premises from which to fine tune and nail down the final:

An intern starting out at a new company endures a variety of fantastic faces and creepy characters, in his/her bid to
– discover what the company actually is/makes
– climb the corporate ladder
– make friends and influence people
A rather timid and nervous Liz (the intern) navigates her way through a supernatural world she doesn’t understand, or fit into;  that just also happens to be her 9-5.
In this workplace world, who is it that truly knows why they are there and why they continue to show up?
An intern joins a company of super natural creatures. You thought you had the job from hell.
Supernatural coworkers, corruption and climbing the corporate ladder. What lurks in the depths of this company’s filing cabinets?
Liz accepts an internship from a company without really knowing what they do. She aims to succeed at her job but has to appeal to both her eccentric/nonsensical boss, and his no-nonsense Personal Assistant, while navigating through their surreal organisation.
An otherwise unemployable young intern joins the ranks of a corporation, staffed by what are slowly revealed to be different supernatural beings, all mostly ignorant of the purpose and product of the company, and preoccupied by their own toxic hierarchies.
A company with a non-specific product…
An office building with non-specific dimensions…
Employees with non-specific goals…
An intern with non-specific skills…
  • Liz’s temp job was meant to be simple, mundane, and normal. There wasn’t supposed to be monsters, mystery, and work.
  • Richard wasn’t meant to solve the mystery…he was meant to stay in the dark and not see the truth.
  • Working at CCCC was meant to be dull, daily, and definitely not dangerous.
