Task 1.2: Collaborative oral and/or written presentations by small groups – 10%

Due Week 6 or 7 – in Friday’s class (week soon to be confirmed in liaison with the Media Program)

For the This Is Serial lab, the form Stage 2 of Task 1 will take is an oral presentation.

Specifically you will contribute to, and participate in, a group ‘pitch’ (in your combined Creative Writing/Media project groups) of your webisode/s in progress.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

To be advised (in liaison with the Media Program) – but will be in either Week 6 or 7 (i.e. immediately before or immediately after the mid-semester break).

Assessment criteria:


Critical thinking: originality and maturity of concepts and ideas, ability to communicate effectively, ability to incorporate other texts/references/sources effectively

Creative thinking: ability to be resourceful and experimental, ability to be independent thinker/s in a group, demonstration of good decision making processes, demonstration of initiative

Communication skills: ability to work both together and solo, ability to solve problems, demonstration of good communication skills, degree of understanding of field of practice
