Two worlds of old and new clash; the epicenter being The Queen Victoria Market. Its sheds have stood the test of time but for how long will this continue? The Melbourne City council intends on revamping the markets infrastructure to prepare it for the future. However, a large portion of shoppers and stall holders believe the 250million redevelopment will not benefit the community and destroy what makes the market unique. I went into this project with an open-mind to document the market as it is, in 2016 (Winter), before any major changes happen. ‘The Boiling Pot’ continued the dialogue  started in Peter Elliots 1966 documentary ‘The Melting Pot’. Hopefully this project will be continued into the future.
