For our research, the primary source we used is academic books, academic articles, journals and news websites. These sources of information were found online using Google Scholar and RMIT library database, as well as newspapers.

Apart from that, we also use secondary source from movie about the Deep web, documentaries, youtube clips and comments from experience persons relevant to the issue. Unfortunately, the BBC documentary that we used for our initial pitch presentation has been made unavailable now, and is not on any other website online. Using the internet for research, we found some of these information from forums, discussion broads from IT’s communities online. We also got some mobile screenshots from a lady in China that our group member Elaine is friends with, to show us what shows up when a page or website is blocked.
